James Naughton to Host MTC’s Winter Benefit: An Intimate Night

We are thrilled to announce that Tony Award-winner James Naughton (Chicago, City of Angels) will host this year’s Winter Benefit on Monday, January 26, 2009 at the fabled Rainbow Room atop Rockefeller Center.

Unlike any other event in New York, MTC’s An Intimate Night brings you up close to Broadway’s most glittering stars for an original, one-night only cabaret. This year’s show, directed by Tony Award-winner John Rando, will feature the up and coming faces of Broadway—Renee Elise Goldsberry (“One Life to Live,” The Color Purple), Cheyenne Jackson (Xanadu, All Shook Up) and Leslie Kritzer (On the Town, A Catered Affair).

Designed to symbolize all the glamour and elegance of New York nightlife, the Rainbow Room is the ideal setting for this unique event. The night begins at 7PM with cocktails, followed by dinner and the show.

Funds raised from An Intimate Night will provide criticial resources for Manhattan Theatre Club’s Education Program, which brings theatre to over 4,000 New York City schoolchildren every year, and it will allow MTC to fulfill its mission as a leading non-profit theatre company producing contemporary plays on and off-Broadway. The event is co-chaired by MTC Board members Bethany Millard and Fiona Kirk.

Tickets are $2,500 and $1,500. Tables of 10 are $25,000, $20,000 and $15,000. For more information or to reserve your space now, please call Antonello Di Benedetto at (212) 399-3000, ext. 4145 or click here to make your reservations online.
